Nice to meet you! My name is Matteo Campostrini and I am a Graphic Designer from Trento, Italy.
I studied Visual Communication at the UdK Berlin
under Prof. Fons Hickmann and at the Faculty
of Design and Arts in Bolzano. I have long been
a collaborator of Studio Mut. My main focus
is on typography, branding and editorial projects. This is a selection of my best works.

IT Ciao! Mi chiamo Matteo e sono un Graphic Designer di Trento. Ho studiato Comunicazione Visiva alla UdK Berlin come allievo di Fons Hickmann, e alla Facoltà di Design e Arti di Bolzano. Sono stato a lungo un collaboratore del prestigioso Studio Mut. Ora lavoro come freelancer a Trento: mi concentro principalmente su progetti tipografici, editoriali e di branding. Questa è una selezione dei miei lavori più importanti.
DE Hallo! Mein Name ist Matteo und ich bin ein Graphic Designer aus Trient, Trentino-Südtirol. Ich habe Visuelle Kommunikation an der UdK Berlin (mit Prof. Fons Hickmann) und an der Fakultät Design und Künste Bozen studiert. Ich war lang ein Mitarbeiter des preisgekrönten Büros Studio Mut. Zurzeit arbeite ich als Freelancer in Trient: ich konzentriere mich auf Tipografie, Branding und Buchgestaltung. Diese ist eine Auswahl meiner besten Projekte.

Visual identity, catalogs and poster campaign for Diplorama!, the graduation show of the Faculty of Design and Arts Bolzano-Bozen. The Diplorama is an annual event that collects all Bachelor and Master thesis realised by the students during the year. Art direction by Gianluca Camillini.

A series of architectural conferences organised by CITRAC at the Mart Rovereto. Three generations of architects were invited to discuss and present their projects around the topic of Critical Regionalism. With the exhibition of south-tyrolean Architect Walter Angonese.

Redesign of the philosophic essay of French author Guy Debord, in occasion of the 50th anniversary of its publication. This book is a combination of the text with images of Debord's namesake movie of 1972. Bachelor Degree at the UdK Berlin, supervised by Fons Hickmann.

A photographic journey through Berlin's Underground U7. Using my iPhone, I stole a picture at every stop. Passengers became the random protagonists of this story: their provenance is unknown, but for ephemeral moments of our lives we shared a destination.

Redesign of Cantatrix Sopranica L., a minor work of French author Georges Perec. The text, mocking the style of an academic paper, ironically describes the effects of throwing tomatoes at bad singers, supported by fake graphics, neologisms and unreal references.
Education
Poster Workshop
I regularly offer Graphic Design workshops for novices, universities and business companies. The workshops always consist of a theoretical and a practical part. The basic principles of composition, hierarchy and typography are first analysed, and then put into action through brief Bauhaus exercises.
